2012 Events

In Dedication to Willie E. Ellard

March 2, 2012 The Greater Pittsburgh Community Leaders Prayer Breakfast (hosted by the Pittsburgh Leadership Foundation),  convened at the Sheridan Hotel, Station Square to bless and encourage leaders of the Pittsburgh region, to consider the Person and work of Jesus Christ.  Sylvia Wallace, Dynasty Arts representative and CCO staff worker for Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC), attended the event as a guest of the Coalition for Christian Outreach (CCO).


Several local government officials were heard along with Keynote speaker, Kim Tillotson Fleming, Chairman & CEO of Hefren-Tillotso. Kim Tillotson Fleming’s encouraged breakfast attendees to seek an attitude of gratitude even for challenges. Emcees included John Hall and Kathy Emmons, Deana Leone, County Executive Rich Fitzgerald, Professor George Jaber, Chaplain Kevin Jordan, and jazz musician, Alton Merrell.

March 5, 2012 Sylvia E. Wallace (Ellard), Founder, Executive Director/CEO speaks to a forum of civic leaders, political officials and citizens of Pittsburgh’s East end community at the “Historic” St. James A.M. E. Church. The meeting was organized by Rev. Maureen F. Cross Bolden, Dr. D. Lawrence Wickerham, Lorraine B. Cook, Earline Jackson Tibbs, E. Richard Phipps, and Barbara A Buice, to welcome the new First Family of the church, Pastor Rodrecus M. Johnson, Jr., Rev. Ayonna Johnson (wife) and their son R.J. III.


Dynasty Arts staff attend community forums such as this to network, gather insightful information, and generate interest in its programs.
